Counselor Supervision

is designed to assist in the training and development of clinical skills and practices for counselors in need of supervision, counselors in trainng, interns and counselors persuing independent licensure. Providing a supportive, encouraging, and challenging environment for supervisees to grow professionally. Supervision is provided remote or in-persom, individually and in a triadic or group setting.

Individual Supervision

Individual supervisory sessions are an hour in length and tailored to the supervisees needs, licensure board requirements and in adherance to  the university/colleges academic requirements. Supervision can be conducted video-or in person.

Group and Triadic Supervision

Triadic supervision consists of two supervisees and one supervisor while group supervision is the supervisor and 3 or more supervisees. Group supervision sessions are scheduled according to your licensure board’s requirements.

Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Services

SAP services refer to the evaluation, assessment, and case management of employees who have violated drug and alcohol regulations, particularly under the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. These services are designed to help employees regain compliance, receive appropriate treatment or education, and return to safety-sensitive job roles when eligible.

  • Initial SAP Evaluation – A comprehensive assessment to determine the client’s needs and develop a personalized plan.                           
  • Substance Abuse Assessment – Identifying substance use history, patterns, and potential treatment needs.
  • Treatment and Education Referral – Referring clients to appropriate treatment, counseling, or education programs as required.
  • Follow-Up Evaluation – A re-assessment to ensure compliance with recommendations and progress in treatment.
  • Return-to-Duty Process – Evaluating the client’s readiness to return to safety-sensitive work responsibilities.
  • Follow-Up Testing Plan Development – Establishing a required follow-up drug and alcohol testing schedule.
  • Clearinghouse Reporting – Submitting required documentation to the FMCSA Clearinghouse for DOT-regulated employees.
  • Employer Consultation – Providing guidance to employers on DOT compliance and SAP process requirements.
  • Case Management and Monitoring – Ongoing support to track client progress and ensure compliance with SAP recommendations
  • Employee Education and Prevention Programs – Offering resources to help employees prevent substance use violations in the workplace.
